Assalamualaikumwarahmatullahiwabarakatuh. Since yesterday, tanggal 24 November 2011, UiTM is set to break another Malaysian Records by organizing a 211 hours non stop malay debate, here in the Annex Hall. I'm proud to say I'm involved in something huge this time, though I'm not the one who debates, but to be part of it is already an honour. In fact my name was never on the list.

The hall was freaking cold. I was supposed to be the Yang Di-Pertua for sidang 5 but since there was an alumni present, I was pushed away to be the most accurate time keeper. The same thing happened in session 7, an accurate time keeper I was again.

The participants are not really a debater, for most of them, it's their first time debating, but it was satisfactory. At least they didn't freeze and stand silently throughout the 7 minutes. There was one argument from a woman that really caught my attention, I'm not sure from which faculty she is, but she's the best speaker that I saw for yesterday. She was the prime minister for the motion 'Bahasa Melayu Penentu Kejayaan Bangsa'. And here is the argument that she used,

Sebab itulah bahasa jiwa bangsa"

I wish I could greet her yesterday. Her ideas were brilliant. Anyway there's more to come. Remember it's non stop, so everyone can stop by to watch a debate in UiTM. Me, myself insyaAllah will have the chance to debate on 3rd December. I'm really looking forward for it.

Wassalam...
