Muslims Should Put Some Effort...

Assalamualaikumwarahmatullahiwabarakatuh.

As I am gradually learning new stuffs and improving myself, it has become the urge for me to gladly call on all muslims to tag along with me. Remember that we are brothers, and brothers protect, advice and care for each other. We are not just an ordinary ummah, but we are declared by Allah as the 'khairu ummah' a.k.a the best ummah ever! Cool isn't it? This acknowledgement is way better from any other awards in this universe. This award comes straight away from the Almighty, the Lord of Alamin. The question for today is simple, are we good enough to live up to this expectation? Of course we are, brothers and sisters? We once rule 2/3 of the world. We used to live in honour and dignity. Together we used to stand up for Islam. But those achievements were history. Despite of the glorious days and triumph that we enjoyed before, we should remember why this 'Empire of Faith' was crushed down by our own hands.

Now let us put our focus on Malaysia as the small scope. In this multiracial and multicultural society, we are again blessed as the majority and Islam can be practiced in peace and harmony alongside other religions as well. The big BUT here, is peace and harmony is not enough for practicing Islam. Don't get me wrong here. What I am asking for, and what we should be asking for is for Islam to be practiced thoroughly and holistically. From policy making down to sports and entertainment, everything should be synchronize with Islamic beliefs. It's not that hard at all, we just have to put some effort, and let Allah show us the success.

So firstly, we always have to start with our very own good self. This is the foundation for the up rise of the 'Empire of Faith' and of course this is the hardest step of all. Tarbiyyah yourself, let us free our self from the rust of jahiliyyah. The change might be super slow, but the progress towards Allah is everything that matters. Change for Him ok? Make sure we completed the fardhu and encourage our self to make the sunnah as our habit. The change in a person may spark the change in others. In the past, Islam begin with only one ordinary 40 years old man, named my dear Muhammad s.a.w. Did our prophet give up despite of all the difficulties and hardships that he faced? Nope, he never gave up. His attitude inspires everyone, be it muslims and even the non believers. Make him our role model. Think you are super duper busy and have no time to contribute for ummah? Think again! Our prophet was a father, a teacher, a warrior, a ruler of great country and of course a loving husband. Why can't we at least try to be like him?

There is so many ways we can help Islam. Let me give you a suggestion, may I? Start by stop tarnishing the good name of Islam. Show good example to others, speak good words, and act as a true muslim. This little effort that we put for his religion, might be the one that are going to drag us all the way to His jannah, insyaAllah. Together let us strive towards mardhatillah!!! :)

A summary of my week; hehe..


Alhamdulillah Ya Rabbal Alamin. Wahai Allah, Tuhan Yang Mengenggam Hati ini, peganglah hatiku ini erat erat agar aku selalu merinduiMu kerana tidak ada satu cinta daripada makhluk pun yang mampu menandingi limpahan cintaMu ke atas diriku.

Hari ini, diri ini terasa kecil sekali. Sungguh bila berjalan di muka bumi yang luas terbentang ini, hambamu ini terasa sangat-sangat kecil. Ramai sungguh manusia dan banyak sangat perwatakan di atas dunia ini. Terkadang aku selalu terfikir, bagaimana Kau tetap teguh mencintai dan menyayangi setiap manusia biarpun manusia itu tidak semuanya pandai bersyukur, dan mungkin di antara hamba-hambaMu yang tak pandai bersyukur itu ialah diri ini yang sedang menaip di dalam blog hijau ini. Berapa banyakkah yang telah hambaMu ini korbankan untuk agamaMu? Hamba ini sangat malu untuk menjawab persoalan ini dihadapanMu di akhirat kelak. Ya Allah, Engkau bukakanlah seluas-luas jalan agar diri ini turut serta dalam jalan yang jauh dan sumpah panjang ini.

Alhamdulillah, esok genap 2 minggu saya bekerja. Alhamdulillah juga setiap hari saya mempelajari pelbagai perkara yang baru. Seingat saya, saya terlalu banyak sangat mengeluh. Hingga selalu sahaja tak perasan nikmat yang diberikan Allah tu. Sorry ye Allah. Ampunkan hambaMu ini.
